Wedding Featured

I cant believe a whole year has passed ! There are a LOT of weddings that I need to show you, that you will love, but between all the post production ( I wish you guys could see how much time goes into one wedding) blogging just falls by the wayside. I will sit down and blog some of our stunning Brides and Grooms from the past 2018 and 2019 soon. But for now I just wanted to show you the special wedding showcase of Janelle and Niran on easyweddings. I’m so happy that their wedding got picked to be a showstopper, I have to thank them and easyweddings for the wonderful feature.

Their story is so unique and amazing that a film could be made out of it. They really are Romeo and Juliet, but with a lot happier ending :) They hurdles that they had to overcome just to be together, let alone married, is simply unbelievable. There was a lot of crying done on the day by everyone, including me, and if these two don’t make you believe in soulmates, I don’t know what will.

Summer of weddings 2018

Well, I guess you can tell blogging is not one of my strongest qualities. Between all the weddings and photoshopping it's very hard to find time to sit down and write about the gorgeous weddings that seem to zoom by each summer. Perth has had it's mildest summer in something like 150 years so we've had some gorgeous weddings, where we ended up dancing under the rain at the reception, or being blown away by the wind at the beach. But it has all been worth it to see my gorgeous clients smiles on their wedding days and of course we still have our stunning Perth sunsets, which have not let us down even this mild summer. I will endeveour to put up more photos this year but for now I'm going to post a mixture of some stunning moments that have stayed with me. I really am the most fortunate person, for some reason I really do have the most amazing clients which make my job an absolute dream. What an amazing season it has been!

Australian Professional Photographers Awards 2013

The results are in! I'm so proud and very happy to take out Silver in the Wedding Category in the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers Awards (AIPP).

I am very blessed to have amazing clients who will go along with every crazy idea I have, and most of all enjoy the day and make my work incredibly easy by simply being in love in front of the camera. That's all I ever suggest, enjoy your wedding, don't worry about the stress, just laugh and enjoy this wonderful day!

Thank You Bernie and Brad for letting me photograph your wonderful wedding.

Culture

One incredible part of my job is photographing all the different religions and culture and their way of celebrating marriage. I think over the years I have been lucky enough to photograph almost every tradition and religion in the book. I always find it fascinating, from Tea Ceremonies, to Hindu Blessings, to Jewish Weddings, to a full-mass Catholic Church Wedding, to Orthodox Weddings, ... I could go on. They are all beautiful, colourful and amazing, and I'm just lucky enough to be invited.
